San Diego History Map

The Idea

I’ve always liked looking at old maps, matching up what used to be with what is now. So I built a map to make it even easier to do so for San Diego. Most of the maps come from the David Rumsey Historical Map Collection, a great place to search for old maps of just about anything. The Sanborn^[1] maps come from the Library of Congress.
